Mission
The Molalla Adult Community Center is a nonprofit organization that promotes educational, recreational, social, cultural, community health and nutrition programs for senior citizens.
Background
The center is funded by the City of Molalla, Older Americans Act funds, participant’s donations, Molalla Area Seniors, Inc., Ride Connection and fundraising events.
The Adult Center has served the senior citizens of Molalla for over 30 years! Membership is $7 per year, open to anyone 50 years old and older.
We offer resources and referrals for the elderly, provide transportation to/ from medical appointments and serve lunch Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays both at the center and delivered to the homebound in our Meals on Wheels program. Last year over 23,000 meals were provided to local seniors.
Members choose from among several cultural, educational and social activities to enhance their quality fo life by participating in their community.
We have a small diligent staff and many helpful volunteers. I want to thank 500 local vounteers whose hard work helps the center accomplish its support to so many seniors.
